These are the first rounds fired through the barrel to establish the accuracy potential of the gun using factory ammunition as a standard. I feel that with a proper break in period the gun is capable of shooting better groups than this. TH.

Never having owned a custom built rifle before, I researched many custom gunsmiths over many months. Todd Hatcher's name was given to me by two friends who had visited his shop in Elsie, Ne. Todd and I spent hours on the phone discussing and designing my once in a lifetime custom rifle. I placed my order in August and as Todd had honestly indicated up front, I received it 8 months later. I have now just completed the 100 round break in period for the .280 Remington Krieger barrel. My results have been all that I had wanted. Less than 1/2 moa with factory Federal, 140 gr. Accubonds! Todd actually test fired this round and shot a group measuring .266! I will take this rifle to Montana in November for a mule deer hunt in the Breaks and then back to Kansas for bean field whitetails. I have been extremely impressed with Todd's skills and workmanship. Hi Todd.......

I just returned from my mule deer hunt in Winifred, Montana. A couple of pics attached that I thought you might like to see. The gun performed flawlessly and impressed all those who saw it. We ranged my deer at 400 yds exactly. Ballistic card indicated 7'' low at that distance. Off my Harris bipod, one shot through the heart and both lungs. Kansas season starts Wednesday.
