2000 Press Releases 12/08/00 We've taken over the Ogallala Gun Show and the date is Jan. 20-21, 2001. Click on the link to get all the information. We're excited to be able to offer this show again as it was dropped this year. Hope you can attend. 11/28//00 Our E-mail is now back and functioning correctly along with our web site. It was sure a mess. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. 11/02/00 Our web site has been down for a few days I guess. It appears that our host server had some hacker problems and were upgrading their system. Hopefully that's been taken care of. Our E-mail is still screwed up so have changed the link to our std. account so we will get our messages until this is fixed. SORRY ! to any of you who have tried to access our web site lately. 10/27/00 Added or changed depending on how often you visit our site a new page called Target Rifles. We just finished a Silhouette Rifle so decided to make a section for it and put the Benchrest rifle in there also. Not many days left before Nov. 7th. Remember to VOTE!! (Bush/Cheney). We desperately need someone besides the Clinton/Gore administration for another 4 years. 10/08/00 We received a Law Enforcement order from North Platte Police Dept. for our HTP-A2C .223 rifles. These will be configured the same as we built for Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Dept. We thank them and look forward to filling this order. We added a new page to our Photo Gallery this will be for big guns over .50 cal. Have a cool mortar there. 08/25/00 Well I chided myself below to get the next page up right away and I did. This is a Win. .300 Mag. The stock is based off of the .22K Hornet that we built earlier, but in a heavier stock for the bigger guns. The gun is a little heavy for hunting, but that's what the customer is going to use it for so that's why it's in the hunting gun section. The gun lays out an balances real nice and with the flat bottom it sits well on bags or a make shift rest. We got something cool coming to the photo gallery. I'll try and have it up in a couple of days. 08/18/00 Nothing seems to go as fast as you'd like. I see below where I thought I'd have the CD available in a couple of week (HAW!!) Well, I'm about 3/4 done. Been working on it in the evenings and trying to get the extra information compiled is taking longer than I thought. I just added our HTP-A3T rifle to the AR section of the custom guns. We've got a nice .300 Win. Mag. done that I'll try and get up in a few days (See first sentence). Also we're finishing up a nice .308 Silhouette Rifle that I'll get up when it's finished. 06/03/00 We've been experiencing some problems with our site due to our host changing things on their servers. Hopefully they have things under control now. We completed Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office order and have completed a new Target AR, a .270 Hunting Rifle and a Tactical Rifle. I'll try and get these up in the custom gun section before long. Our AR lower receivers have been on hold while we were completing the above work. We're now waiting on the blueprints to show up so we can start programming the CNC machine for machining the receivers. We are working on a new catalog that will be on a CD. This will allow us to put more detailed information about our products and more pictures than we had in our paper catalog. Hopefully this will be available in a couple of weeks. 03/31/00 We received an order from Lincoln Co. Sheriff's Office for 24 new rifles. These rifles will be AR's built by us. The model is HTP-A2C. Rifles are .223, Wilson 16" Hvy. Bbl. with Std. Stock & A2 Sights. These rifles are Law Enforcement Only. We look forward to filling this order for them. 03/30/00 We are excited to announce that we will now be manufacturing our own AR receivers. We've received a sample from our foundry supplier and will be setting up our CNC programs to machine these. We look to have these available for our rifles by early summer. Our Competition & Varmint AR rifles along with our Std. AR's will now carry the Hatcher Gun Company name, model and serial number. We will now be able to offer our customers a tighter tolerance receiver on these guns. 01/22/00 Happy 2000. Still can't get use to typing 00 for the year yet. Probably get the hang of it around 01. Well, I added a couple of new pages in the custom gun section. There is a new hunting rifle. This is one of those that kind of goes both as a hunting rifle and as a varmint rifle that I mentioned earlier. It was put in the hunting section because that is what the owner will be using it for. There is also a new AR-15 that we just recently finished, also just completed and shipped a couple of our SBS to a Class 3 dealer in MO. I've got a new page almost finished for the Store/Accessories Page. It will have the custom 1911 parts in it. Should be up in a couple of days. A lot of new stuff at the Shot Show. Remington has a new electronic trigger. We'll see. They've come and gone before so the jury will be out on this for a while. Custom rifle orders are still brisk and we're trying to keep the orders to a realistic delivery time. |
