1999 Press Releases 12/28/99 I want to take a moment during this holiday season to thank all our customers for their business this past year. We look forward to helping or serving you again in the new year. 1999 has been a big year for us here and 2000 is looking to be better. This can only happen with satisfied customers. We appreciate you and we'll do our best to provide good products and service. Thank you and may this Holiday Season be an happy and joyous time. 12/6/ or 7/99 I don't really know any more. People have been telling me I'm not chatty enough and need to update this more often. Sorry about that. We've been busy in the shop building your guns and some things kinda slip by as time goes on. Next thing you know a couple or three months have gone by. Hunting season is here, been here and the shop is even busier than normal. So again I apologize. Have a new page in the Custom Gun Section listed as Hunting Rifles. I'll be adding to this as time goes along. We've got some new guns coming that are going to gray between hunting rifles and varmint rifles. So I guess I'll put them in the class based on the intent of the customers use. Coming as soon as I can get the pages done, is another AR-15 Varmint, Tactical Rifle, and Hunting Rifle. These are done and out to our customers. We're working on a (Hunting/Target/Varmint .300WM) should be quite a rifle. Also a Competition AR, and a couple of (Hunting/Varmint's ) in .270 & .30-06. Along with the NE. State Patrol Rifles. No real news on new and nifty guns coming out yet. I'll update that latter. Just got in our first and probably only Winchester SuperX2 12ga.3-1/2" for this year. I've been trying to get these since they came out last year. The AR market is still just as bad as it was this spring with availability. We ordered Armalite's in April and still haven't received the complete order. June & July orders haven't come yet either. Last order I place was in Oct. and they we're telling me April 2000 delivery. We'll see. That's about it, don't want to set a precedence for writing a book. Somebody will come to expect it. 10/25/99 We have moved our web site now to Shooter's.com as our host and things are kinda messed up. I'll be getting things straightened out directly so please bear with me. Also, I have some new guns that will be added to our Custom Gun Section. 07/14/99 We can now take Visa and MasterCard; however, this IS NOT a secure socket layer and all sales will have to be phoned in to our office. This will save our customers the inconvenience of having to get Money Orders or having COD charges. We are always looking for ways to better serve our customers. 05/14/99 Just completed a new rifle in .22K Hornet. This is sure a nice rifle to shoot. Mild recoil and low noise report makes this a joy. Velocity is very good, making it a nice mid-range rifle. I've added a sub page to our Custom Gun Page for Varmint Rifles. I'll be putting these rifles there as they become available. 04/21/99 AR's are again becoming hard to get. I talked to Bushmaster and Olympic and they said it was due to the Y2K thing. I also heard from another source that Colt has taken their AR's off the civilian market and this is making a short fall in which Bushmaster and others are having to try and fill. Talking to Colt's Customer Service Representative and they say it's the Y2K thing. All I know is Bushmaster is 2-3 months, Olympic is 2-3months, Armalite is September maybe, and Colt who knows. Uppers and Lowers are not available. We are getting a lot interest in our AR15 Varmint Rifle. I have a small amount of Colt receivers in which these guns can be built. However, I don't know how long they will last. The other parts we use are still available at this time. Uppers have been questionable but we've obtained a source for these. 03/04/99 I have added a new section to our photo gallery. This will have photos of our used guns for sale, from our used gun page. There has been interest in the condition of these, so this will make it easier to see their condition and configuration. I'll be adding other photos as soon as I get them developed. 01/30/99 There are changes in the Custom Gun Pages. I just completed the first set of rifles for the Nebraska State Patrol. They shot great! It is now listed under Tactical Rifles. We are currently working on another, similar to the NSP rifles but will be a little fancier. Look for in in the coming month. I'm still working on the store and should have some new pages up there also in the near future. Winchester now has a 3" and 3-1/2" Auto Shotgun out for this year! Called a Super X2. Price is REAL reasonable. With Browning and now Winchester in the 3-1/2" auto market this is going to hurt the Benelli sales. Winchester hasn't had a 3" Auto on the market until now. It will be available in wood, synthetic or camo. 01/3/99 Happy New Year! We're still working on this site. Mainly the store area needs to be completed. I'm having some trouble with getting stuff from the feedback area and the Information Request Form in several pages. If you want to contact us about our site or for information. Please use our E-mail so I'll get it. There are some new items coming out on the market that you may or may not know about. First is from Taurus who will be offering a .357Sig in their 945/40 line and also the Raging Hornet built on the Casull frame. It is a 8 shot .22 Hornet in a 10" barrel for the initial offering. Second is from Para Ordnance. They are coming out with a double action in their P14 series guns. I have no information on this as yet but should have soon. |
